Benefiting from Partnerships

15th Mar 2018

Ruth from the Nerve Centre was up to see how the children’s skills at flying have improved and how we have been getting on with our project.

To celebrate we ‘borrowed’ OLOL’s sports hall to impress Ruth with our flying.

Using a Recon drone, Parrot Travis and the original quadcopters the children had fun showing off their abilities.

They used various body parts to safely land the drones and flew then through hoops.

The children’s understanding and ability to be safe has now become second nature.

They can problem solve when the drones experience difficulties.

Our BIG thanks go to Ruth and the Nerve Centre.

We would also like to thank Ms Gillan and her staff for the venue and for getting us there and back.
