Christmas Science
17th Dec 2024
Today, as part of our 'Super Science' topic, our P6 and P7s got to make reindeer toothpaste by mixing some household items to make a foamy toothpaste soup from an exothermic chemical reaction. The children also got to make dancing snowmen using tissue paper and a balloon. The children rubbed their balloons on their heads to create static electricity which made the tissue snowman move! Finally, the children were able to experiment with reflections and they were given the challenge of writing the names of their Christmas presents backwards so that they could read the words normally on the mirror. We all enjoyed our Christmas experiments!
