Today we had a visit from Erin and Karen representing Action Mental Health Northern Ireland (AMHNI), for Healthy Me. It is as important to consider our mental health as it is too look after our physical and social health.
The workshop sessions were both informative and fun. The children discussed strategies to look after their mental health. It is important to note we all have mental health but it is largely considered in negative terms and not discussed enough.
Today was a positive experience for the children and we would encourage parents to talk to their children about what they have done with Erin and Karen.
