P6 & 7 had a visit to the Titanic following their topic work.
We were accompanied by some family members.
It was interesting, informative and quite simply brilliant.
The Titanic Experience moves through Boomtown Belfast, the Shipyard, the Launch, the Fit out, the Maiden Voyayge, the Sinking, the Aftermath, Myths and Reality and finally Titanic beneath and Ocean Exploration Centre.
The children walked the slipway to get a feel of how big the Titanic was, had lunch and experienced a thinking skills workshop.
As you can see some of my P7 boys love having their picture taken.
We were stopped by some other visitors and the shop staff who commended their behaviour and manners.
A very enjoyable day out.
