Using Drones in OLOL
12th Jun 2017
A big thank you to Miss Gillan, Principal of Our Lady of Lourdes, who kindly allowed us time today to use their hall to fly our drones.
We had loads of space and could even get a chance to fly the larger drones.
The big advantage was the lack of wind. We could focus on the control.
The children were able to fly the quadcopters through hoops literally.
They could use the faster speeds and complete flips.
It was difficult to get the batteries charged fast enough.
Everyone was able to increase their flying time considerably.
I have a lot of repairs to do though.
